Jafra's Summer Trip to Nashville, Tennessee - August 1-5, 2007

The Jafra Nashville trip was fantastic. And the Gaylord Opryland Resort was amazing. We were wined, dined and showered with gifts. We had so much fun laughing, dancing , learning and sharing. We experienced the NEW "J" Dynamics Intelligent Skin Care...WOW! We each received our own full size set to start using. Jafra also gave each of us $100 to pamper and treat ourselved with. On our day off we went to President Andrew Jackson's plantaion and the Grand Ol' Opry. I was recognized for top in personal sales and team sales in California and in the Nation. it was quite an honor and I received some beautiful jewelry.

Jafra Spa Parties Are Hot This Summer!

This Spa party took place in the back yard around the pool. Everyone loved the facial and Jafra Mud Mask as well as the foot soak using the Jafra Mineral Bath Salts, Ginger Sea Salt Body Scrub on one foot and Peppermint Foot products on the other foot. Everyone had soft glowing skin and happy feet as they placed their orders and scheduled their own spa parties.

We're going to Nashville!

After a four month qualification period, I met the sales and recruiting qualifications for Jafra's 2007 Summer Trip. Jafra will be treating us to 5 days, August 1-5, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. Pictured are our local winners Janet Flores, Rachele Ford, Marilyn Lewis and Sara Hipple.

Healthy Lifestyle Expo - June 23, 2007

Terina Brandsberg and I joined other health professionals at Cypress Place Senior Living in Ventura, California for this Lifestyle Expo and Health Fair. It was a beautiful sunny day and Participants were enjoying Jafra's sunblock to protect their skin from both UVB and UVA rays. We gave hand massages with Royal Jelly Body Complex while explaining the benefits of Royal Jelly for their skin. Jafra's Art in Balance was experienced as we shared it's aromatherapuetic benefits for energy or stress relief. Wearing our "red dress pins" we Let everyone know that Jafra Cosmetics International is a proud supporter of Go Red for Women to help with awareness of the risk of heart attacks in women and sharing tips for a healthy heart. We gave gift vials of our Royal Jelly Lift Concentrate to be sampled for the next 5 days when we would check back to get their feedback. It was a rewarding day sharing how Jafra products can contribute to healthy living benefits and how the Jafra income opportunity can also attribute to "Lifestyle Choices."

Flowers in Full Bloom at Hipple's Rancho Sarel

We live in a beautiful piece of paradise in the foothills of Carpinteria, California. We moved to our property 27 years ago and lived in a 34 foot travel trailer while we built our green houses and 5 years later, our home. My husband, Jim, is a flower grower and he grows the most beautiful hydrangeas. This morning we were up early picking flowers for orders to be shipped Monday for the abundance of weddings planned for 7/7/07. Our daughter Jessica is holding a bunch of Dahlias to put in her room. Natalie Graduates - June 14, 2007

Our youngest daughter, Natalie, graduated from Carpinteria Middle School and is headed to Carpinteria High School this fall. It was a crazy yet exciting day. I arrived in Carpinteria at 11:00AM from Las Vegas just in time to pick up Natalie from school to get her and everything ready for her graduation ceremony and family party afterwards. One of the things I love about my Jafra business is the freedom schedule my life and to make choices that work best for me and my family. I was able to attend the Jafra University by leaving a few hours early on the last day to also make a memorable day for Natalie and our family.

Jafra University -June 11 - 14, 2007

The 2007 Jafra University was held at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Everything was very elegant with excellent training and an opportunity to see Jafra friends from all over the USA. At the Awards Dinner we had a delicious meal and as always a fabulous desert. I was caught by surprise as my name was announced as #1 in central branch team sales from these top leaders in attendance. On our free night in Las Vegas nine of us went to "Menopause" the musical. We laughed and had tons of fun. I flew home at 6AM the next morning to make it back to Carpinteria for my daughter's 1:30 Graduation and BBQ at our home.

Go Red for Women Health Expo and Luncheon

Jafra is a Proud Supporter of Go Red for Women. On May 18, 2007 Sara Hipple and PK Rugh of Jafra Cosmetics International represented Jafra at the American Heart Association - Go Red for Women Health Expo and Luncheon. It was held at the Fess Parker Double Tree Resort in Santa Barbara, California. Jafra gift bags were provided for each guest. The bags were filled with a variety of gifts which also included a $10.00 Jafra Gift Certificate from Sara. Some women used their gift certificate toward the purchase of products. A nurse who attended the event called and invited Sara to come to her home to share Jafra with herself, a friend and their pre-teen daughters. They all loved the products. The daughters could hardly wait to start using Jafra's Teen Skin Care. Jafra is thrilled to be a part of empowering women to lead a healthier life and to "love their heart."

Carpinteria HS Prom - June 2, 2007

My daughter Ellie and her good friends Amber, Tiondra, and Tesa are ready for their Junior-Senior Prom. The four girls arrived at my house ready to be made over and I worked my magic. My job was simple, all I had to do was enhance their natural beauty with Jafra's Color line. Ellie and her date, James, take one last picture before they all head off for the prom in their limo with six of their friends. May 22, 2007- Ellie stars in 42nd Street at Carpinteria HS

My daughter,Ellie, portrayed Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street this week. Opening night was her 17th birthday. After a day of business and school we all met for a quick dinner and celebration at Zookers Resturant before heading to Carpinteria HS. Thirteen family members watched a wonderful performance of acting, dancing and singing wonderful tunes. We were all thrilled and impressed with Ellie and the cast's performance. Her Jafra make-up enhanced her natural beauty and held up with her rigorous tap dancing.

I am celebrating my 32 Anniversary with Jafra Cosmetics International and I have been blessed to "live of my dreams."
